'stealth' speed cameras

What can we buy to use against these new speed cameras being put on our motoways?. The M25 has them now and 1500 caught in 7 weeks

We are soon not going to need any good power if 70 MPH is our limit.

I think the Snooper 3zero should spot them, I am checking.

This site mentions Road Angel and Snooper, the Hadecs3 camera uses radar so maybe the Snooper detects that:

http://www.speedcamerasuk.com/hadecs-3.htm

It is really crap that speed cameras are appearing on motorways now, yet another income stream for someone!

If only you didn't need to plug it in everytime you used it!

I have just got a Road Angle Gem+ used it over the last week extensively and been impressed by it, it even measures your average speed when you are in an average speed section. When it displays the speed it gives you 10% +1 before giving you an audible warning. Battery does not last more than 2-3 hours so needs pluging in.

Hi John, would you recommend the Snooper 3zero over the road angel? is it easy to hardwire in without too much hassle/damage?

Hi, Listers wired mine in, easy job took an hour to do two wires ( one for my camera and the other for this Snooper) not sure if you have to pay an annual fee on the road angel, you do on this 3zero £29.99/year, which is best!, i can't answer that one, I needed those cameras to be identified , this one does.

My snooper does not bleep unless a live camera is being approached.

I've noticed an increase in mobile camera units using laser guns.
Narrowly avoided getting in big trouble on a couple of occasions, because I wasn't speeding of course
Seriously sick and tired of this. My uncles tell me of the good old days in the 1980s when they had M535s and e28 M5s - they used to have so much care free fun on the roads.

Hi guys, new to the UK. So which camera detector model/make is the definitive in covering all possible camera models? Is it illegal to have a detector? Is it 'frowned upon'?

"'New speed cameras"

Mind sharing what is new about them?

Never understood why the UK never adopted the German approach to motorway driving..

I think he's referring to the side gantry mounted speed cameras they have been putting in on the M25/M1 and now M62.

As well as the cameras above the carriageway on the "smart" sections they also have a camera covering the 3 lanes that is sighted on the gantry stanchion

So what is new about them?

Aren't they meant to be yellow? So you can actually see them on approach , thought that was the new law that they recently changed..
