MY2016 facelift already on the M3/4
Ah! 1 model year after introduction of the new gen, it is going to get some tweaks (minor). (Exactly that happened to the F10 M5 as well, very short introduction for MY12 and full MY13 and full facelift on MY14)
-IDrive upgrade -exterior change on LED tailight -park assistant http://www.autoevolution.com/news/bm...ci-91364.html# Therefore, for those who have ordered and in the grey area of production of MY2015 vs MY2016, you may want to wait as the ordering guide for the MY2016 should be out in mid to late April 2015 |

it has been that way on almost every generation,
the e90 M3 received new tailights and navigation after its first year, the reasoning is the regular 3 series has already been out for a few years |

that sucks - i wonder what kind of upgrade on iDrive? gesture functionality? - i m quite surprise my f80 uses halogen bulb for taillight (especially when u r in reverse gear, the clear bulb looks ugly at the back, while x5 uses leds) - park assistant, this becomes a standard feature? it normally charges $400- in canadian dollar for this feature. |

The fact that the article author expresses that he did not expect this, shows how little he knows about BMW and M cars. This literally happens every time. Hardly a surprise. E90, yup. F10, yup. F80 ... Yuuuup.

has anyone tried upgrading the bulbs in the rear tails to "led"
specifically the rear turn signals? i know it wont be the same as full led tail lights, but might clean it up temporary. an give that solid "led flash" if that makes sense |

I have not. Not really bothered by it. Trust me, people are not looking at your tail lights when they see you drive by!

The amount of data on this forum over frickin LED lights astounds me. Sure, they look ok but....so what? Worth delaying my purchase by 9 months? No. Freaking. Way.

Exactly! I could care less about LED taillights.
