Ohlins R&T - E36 M3 and Z4 bumpstops?

I have had the Ohlins for a while now on my E92 335D, really happy with them.

I was just wondering would it be beneficial to change the front bumpstops from stock sport to E36 M3 ones, and similarly Z4 ones on the rear?

Reason i ask is i'll be having the suspension out soon so no bother changing them then.

??? Didn't the Ohlins suspension come with bumpstops? Did you install your oem bumpstops?

I don't even remember to be honest. I think they came with rear ones but not front ones. Ohlins say to use original top mounts so i am assuming they mean the bumpstops too. I need to have a look in my garage and check the original shocks to see if they have bumpstops on or not.

Here is a pic of the full kit: http://performanceshock.com/index.ph...image&pID=1185

Looks like they only include bumpstops for the rear? I'm confused too now

Think i've just found the answer. Apparently the front struts have internal bumpstops.

So i guess i'll just replace the top mounts. OEM the way to go?

Yea the ohlins struts are mono tube like the bilsteins. The bumpstops are internal to the strut.

It's either that or camber plates. I'd replace the oem rear shock mounts with Dinan or Powerflex too.
