Im considering this package of brake parts:

I ordered the slotted front rotor earlier this year. Had 8000 miles on them by now and few track days, no complain.

That's what's on my car except I went with one piece instead of two piece for the fronts. It works, low noise, moderate dust, doesn't fade when spirited driving on the street and works well enough on the track. My only complaint on both street & track is that it doesn't have much initial bite at all. It feels like I have to go 3/4 of the way into the pedal before I get aggressive stopping power. I'm going to try rebedding them and will likely get some track specific pads in the near future

All iron rotors are pretty much the same among the decent quality ones and they have no effect on brake pedal feel. Your soft pedals are because overheated pads. Ask me how I know...

I used Hawk HPS pads before and really did not like them. They squealed on the street (even with generous amounts of CRC Disk Brake Quiet on them), and simply weren't up to the job on the track. And, by the way, slotted and/or drilled rotors aren't up to the job at the track either - they tend to crack. They do look cool though.

Gezzzz, so much misinformation in here. Slotted rotors do not crack, unless you have some real shitty ones. Only drilled through rotors tend to have that problem.
