Help: Electronic Coolant Pump
I was driving to work the other day and I got the dreaded yellow 'Engine overheating' which turned to red 'Engine overheating'. The car shut off while I was on Burnside, and I pulled over and had it towed to BMW Portland.
When I purchased my 2009 AW 335i in June, the previous owner had purchased the maintenance warranty and the extended warranty that covers me until August 2015 or 100k miles. Apparently, the extended warranty DOES NOT follow the car and he was supposed to transfer it to me w/in 30 days of selling it. Now BMW Portland won't honor the extended warranty because it is not under my name, I've fought back and forth with BMW Portland and BMW NA for the past week and half and looks like I'm losing this battle.....Pretty upset about this. Can anyone recommended me to someone or a shop that can help me replace the electronic coolant pump? This looks like a DIY - http://www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/tech...eplacement.htm Thanks in advanced! |
