Switching from non-rft/rft bridgestone to non-rft michelin
Car: 2009 E93 335i 6MT Msport w/193M 18" Wheels
Mods: Koni FSD, M Front Control Arms, JB4 & Back end flash Long story short, I have OEM sized Bridgestone RE960AS RFT tires in the front and RE970AS go-flats in the rear. The rear tires were replaced earlier this year under mileage warranty and since the RFT was on back order I was able to go non-rft. My fronts are worn on the outer edges and need replacement. This car is my DD and I drive through some bad roads in downtown, so I am thinking of going up one size on the ratio and have heard great things about the Michelin PS A/S3 Front: 225/40/18 -> 225/45/18 Rear: 255/35/18 -> 255/40/18 This leaves me with 2 options: 1) Buy Bridgestone RE970AS for the front and stick to oem size 2) Buy Michelin PS A/S3 with the new sizes and sell rear RE970AS tires Thoughts? |
