BMW Service in Brooklyn NY
I am looking for a good service department around NYC
I had a drive train malfunction on my 328 xi 2013 and the service in Brooklyn NY would no give me a loaner. I really dont want to be left without a car for a long time. I am also unsure if they will actualy find the problem as I have read some not so stelar review about them. Any sugestions and recomendations would be aprisiated Thanks |

And I been thinking of using life quality on 2nd ave as I work right across the way, would be very convenient for me to drop it off at 7am and pick it up at 330pm, but now I dont know, I been going in there a couple times to try and get a feel for the workers and what not. Not really impressed. And another sour note is that a massive drug ring was busted from there using loaner cars to make drug deliveries, thats probably why you couldnt get a loaner lolol.

ive had horrible experiences with Life Quality from both sales and service.
I waited around 30 min for a sales man to help me when I was in the show room. I had even made an appointment! My car broke down completely a few blocks away from their service center...and they wouldnt take me in! they flat out told me "unless you purchased from us, our customers are higher priority"......which i mean is legit, but he sounded rude about it.

obvious answer would be to go to the place where you got your car from. most places value their own customers over new comers.
if you dont have a place....Paul Miller in NJ has a friendly customer service. If you dont want to travel to NJ, I believe manhattan might be your next best bet. just call around to all the dealerships near you, explain the situation and see what they can offer

I use BMW of Manhattan on 11th ave & 57th street, they are GREAT! They did not have a BMW loaner for me (under 25 yrs of age rule), but they did get me into an Enterprise car free of charge. If you call speak to Kelly! She's great.

Bought&had one service with life quality bklyn.
Not especially impressed but I saw a LOT of people leaving with loaner. I did not need/want one but they definitely were providing quite a few X1/3 when i waited there. you should insist. Service wise... well, based on the traffic i saw there, I am not surprised i had to wait, I consider this part of the awful garage experience in NY. Also, they forgot to reset the service change light when i got the car though... annoying. (got it fixed in 5seconds) |

BMW of Bayside. Been going there for normal service for a decade, since before they moved the service dept. They're very busy though, so you'll have to wait for an appointment. There have been times when I couldn't get a loaner appt for a month. When I need something quick, I go over to Rallye. Can usually get a waiting appointment the next day, or a loaner one within 2 weeks.
Oh yeah, the foreman at Bayside is a dick. Huge ego. If you meet him, you'll want to knock him out. |
