Video ticket

Hey guys. Got a video ticket in Fife in September. Basically a rolling stop at a right turn on a red light. $124.00. Do I just ignore like a parking ticket? Pay it? or call Mucklestone. It states its not the type violation that goes on your insurance. The video shows my car (no driver pic.) slowing down, yet not stopping and turning right at the intersection off of I-5 then turning right towards Northwest BMW.
What ya think?

Fife don't bother with it. If it's on video they make you pay.

I say just pay it. End of the day were supposed to come to a complete stop

I got the same ticket, same light. Just pay it. You might get it reduced a bit if you appeal it, but it's not worth the time.

I got a ticket for the same thing in Clackamas earlier this year, but it was for twice the amount.

I plead guilty, but I wrote a letter asking for leniency to keep it off my driving record. This was one of the options available on the paper work I received from the county. I've managed to keep a clean driving record and I wanted to keep it that way (after 12 years of accident/ticket free driving my insurance is still through the roof... single male).

Anyway, they wrote back and gave me the option of taking a class instead. Single session class, 3-4 hours. The class still cost $150, but I get to keep a clean record.

Fight it. If they can't prove it was YOU that did the crime then how can they charge you??

The "it wasn't me" is what I tried with the fife stinkers, via mail-in. would not recommend it, it's a waste of time. court just found against me w/ no explanations. this town sux all-sorts-of-things...

You don't even have to say "it wasn't me", you simply tell them to prove it was me. It's their job to prove beyond a reasonable doubt you committed the crime.

Just google search how to fight a red light camera ticket, tons of info out there.

^ Yes, that is exactly what I did. does not work @ Fife. this was, what, 4 months ago or so...

if i'd do it again, i'd use what i read (afterwards) from another guy: say you heard a siren and lights, so you thought it was an emergency vehicle coming so you moved out the way.
