Strange occurrence, loss of tire pressure?

Has anyone else noticed, the front drivers side tire, after a few either high speed runs at the track, or jaunts around the track, after your cool down etc... The front drivers side ending up with significantly lower tire pressure than the other 3 tires? I have not had the time to research how and where the engines heat is primarily being dissipated, but Might it be from that general area?
Any thoughts?
