Auto trans from 2nd to 3rd by itself (in Sport)

2015 M235i automatic switches itself from 2nd to 3rd in Sport, manual. Anybody else notice that?

in Manual it shouldn't upshift no matter what driving mode you are in

BMW has to pay the bill if and when you blow it up. Thats why the tranny shifts if you forget.

On my 1 series it did not go to 1st in manual when arriving at a light...the 2 drops all the way down to 1st.

Under what conditions? Are you bouncing it off redline?
