Bird dropping on carbon roof!
I got a bird dropping on the roof and I always make sure to remove any daily. When removing some off the vehicle this evening I noticed a cloudy circle mark was left behind on the roof. Pretty bummed because I never had this problem with my E92 carbon roof. I've attached a photo of mark. I tried removing it meguiars quick detailer and no luck. Any suggestions?

After quick detail, try clay to see if it pulls it out - that would mean it's residual crap left behind after the wipe down.
If clay doesn't get it, it'll come out quickly with even a minor polish.

I have had this several times before where the bird droppings left a cloudy mark behind and both my last cars were black. I found if i polished on and around the area and left the polish on as long as I could (best in a cool dry place so garage overnight) then polished it out it was generally all nice and clear again. Some bird droppings took a few days and somehow were drawn out by itself after I polished it. I can't explain how or why but a few days later it was simply gone.
Hopefully this will work for you to mate. |
