Folding Mirrors

Another folding-mirror thread, I know, but I think my problem is different.

In previous threads, it was found that the folding-mirror option is part of the premium package. But we don't have any of those packages in SA.

So, what is the standalone option for folding mirrors?! It's definitely not listed as 'electrically folding mirrors' as with previous BMWs, but my suspicion is that it is part of the 'interior and exterior anti-dazzle mirror' option.

Help, anybody?

I just looked at the pricing guide for SA and I don't even see it as a stand alone options. Maybe you car is prewired, you can buy some after market, and just do some coding to have them activated.

Thanks for taking the trouble to go through the SA price list! I highly doubt it's part of the car already, as folding mirrors are never standard on these types of cars. I'll have to ask the dealer..

It doesn't mention it for the SA market standard features though. The SA M235i comes extremely STOCK. It doesn't even include automatic aircon or xenons. There is no way it's standard. I will go find out though. Thanks anyway.

Great! @Anodite10 will be happy to hear that. Do you have the order code for the folding mirrors?

Not a problem, glad I to be able to contribute to your purchase. What are your exterior and interior color choices?

I haven't ordered yet, but I'm going for BSM exterior with Terra leather and aluminium trim interior. I'm also blacking out the stock wheels and tinting 20% all round

Well that's the plan so far..

Nice set up, that's going to look really sleek. 20% is beyond the legal limit here in VA lol, but I've done it before. With a black car and a lot of the interior being black (of course the brown will break it up a bit)...you're cars is going to really stealth.

Lol it's also beyond the legal limit of 35% here too, but I have 35% currently and I feel it's not dark enough. I've always supported the all-black look but never have tried it. I feel that the M235i would be a good fit for this somehow.

I also don't get why Terra is not like everybody's default option! It's clearly the best choice by far. Am I missing something?

Quite honestly, if we could have these seats state side, I'd be all over them...

We have those seats here for the 220i, 220d and 228i. Only leather for the M235i however.

You know I usually avoid textile interior because it is harder to clean...but the Dakota leather is so cheesy I think I would have gone for this interior as well if it were available in the states
