M235i economy?

What MPG (or l/100km) to expect from an M235i, driven rather hard but outside city, on long trips?

My daily commute to work is about 25 miles, 15 highway, 10 back roads, each way. About 50 miles round trip. I am averaging 21.6 combined mpg with a 6spd manual, and I drive pretty hard.

My M235i has a combined 25.5 MPG since new. That's ~3500 miles of mixed driving.

I'm seeing 31.5 to 34.7 MPG on long highway trips. Cruising speeds are typically in the 70 to 82 MPH range.

I do not baby the car which is to say, I do not really try to get better MPG. I just drive it, often using the Sport mode and really pushing on the throttle.

Enjoy your ride!

I drive everyday about 70km (City, Interstate and Autobahn). The average consumption according to the car computer is 11.0 l/100km. My right foot is not that heavy.

I drive 115 km per day round trip. Probably 90-95 are hwy at 114km/h.

I drive enthusiastically all the time, city or hwy (hwy includes lots of passing on single lane).

I'm getting 9.4 l/100km

Mostly city driving which, in Baltimore, is mostly stopping at every red light. I'm getting around 16-17 mpg. It hurts a bit.

Same here driving mostly Alexandria and DC...red lights, stop and go traffic. I was mortified at the my 15-16 mpg average. Eeh, I tried eco mode....but the car didn't feel nearly as engaging to drive. So I have come to grips with having to fill up a bit more than I want to

That's not too bad. I was expecting worse.

I've been running mid 23s in heavy traffic highway mileage. Dips below that in the less populated back road driving where I can use more of the throttle ;-). Haven't had the opportunity to have a wide open highway cruise yet, sorry to say.

I commute 22 miles with mostly free roads, some lights, and stretches at 60 and then 80....averaging a little over 21mpg with my six speed. For reference only, my 2011 M3 convertible averaged 17mpg on the same trip.

average 19.6 and dropping with mostly city driving.

it was 21, then 20, now 19. I try to use eco pro when stuck behind someone going slower than the posted speed but other than that, its in sport mode with sport shift.

I regularly have to pass on a 25km(15 miles) stretch of road and often hit 150-180 kph (90-110 mph).

25 mi roundtrip commute, 3200 miles on the clock. Mostly highway speeds but with some lights. I'm getting 20-22mpg. 6 MT. I've got it in Sport + as often as possible though.
