162's on 335xi

Just got 162's on my 335xi. Thought this would be a good winter set. Got my winter Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D's from Gary at tire rack. What do you guys think? There seems to be a lot of space in the front. Must be why guys drop this car. I heard the xi's are 2" higher, is that true?

Yes...higher....not sure of the measurements....technically you want your car (the X drive 3er) to go on the snow...not through it.

I am 99% is only 0.8 of an inch

the way you took the pic really makes a difference, since you took it from a lower angle it makes it higher than it really is
