Looks like this ugly lip to me... Kind of hard to tell because it's black. If so, then I suggest you sell it OP and buy an aero lip (and paint it

You could wrap it with carbon fiber (3m). I had a carbon fiber lip spoiler and my wife scraped it up and eventually left it on someones driveway like carbon fiber cornflakes. If you wrap yours it might get some additional protection and it would be easier to fix when you scrape it. Just an idea.
