2015 Subaru Forester adaptive cruise, superior to 335's
Just an hour ago took delivery of the above car, and so far loving the adaptive cruise included with the eyesight option. It actually stopes the car once the car in the front comes to a full stop, my 335 doesn't fully stop, I actually have to apply the break. Superior technology????

No, wife didn't want another turbo in our driveway, got the 2.5i limited fully loaded with leather and the tech package. So far very pleased, I think it will make a great winter beater

Congrats on the Forester!
Although you should probably have your ACC looked at. I know mine will bring me to a full stop, albeit quicker than I am normally comfortable with. I guess that's what Eco Pro is for.

So does this mean that the 335 is no longer the best car ever made?

I don't understand how anyone could buy a Subaru other than an STI. This is the only Subaru worth a damn. Subaru is for the granola people who don't have the cash for a Volvo.

You guys are all very hilarious, obviously the ACC in my 335 is not up to par according to some, still the best car IMO regardless of the ACC. btw ill buy all your cars at a reasonable price...

My 328 F31 with ACC does a full stop. Though if the car in front moves out of the lane (and there is another car in front of that one), it will take off!

Perhaps less leaning on gadgets and more concentration on ACTUALLY DRIVING THE CAR? "Superior Technology"? No - "Excessive Gadgetry". But I guess if you need a car that drives itself, these things matter...

I'd have to disagree as well. There is an STi in the lot I park at, and he drives it year round, even when we got those really bad snowfalls last year. He seemed to get out without any issues at all. That being said, I would probably agree that the Forester does a bit better due to the additional ground clearance.
Regardless, congrats on the purchase! |

Thank you guys, I figured I need a beater after the last winter we had up here. Wife doesn't like to drive the X5 in the winter (why she wanted one I still don't know) and our 335 although Xdrive, doesn't have much ground clearance hence we decided on the forester after much research. After driving it for a couple days, I can tell you it's a fine suv, although the interior leaves a lot to be desired. I guess you get what you pay for....
