Black Grills and Stainless Pedals
A couple silly questions regarding grills and pedals. I'm probably going to order a set of black kidney grills for my 335i. Are there differences amongst the various grills? Do the "official" M Performance black grills looks much different than other cheaper aftermarket options? Does Turner Motorsport only handle the M Perf. type (thinking of ordering from them)? Are they all matte black? Shiny black? Any feedback on differences between M Perf. line vs others would be appreciated.
Second....I'd also like to order the M Perf. stainless pedals....but I'm afraid they'd scratch up and look worn after a while. I live in northern Ohio (lots of snow and salt in the winter time) and I'm concerned they wouldn't hold up. Any experience with this? Thx in advance for your feedback! |

The pedals aren't mirror polished stainless. They are more satin. I've had stainless pedals in the past and never had a problem with them. If they do get scuffed, I'm sure a scotch-brite pad or ultra fine grit paper would fix that up. Anyway I'll let you know next Spring how mine hold up.
As for the grills, I've read some of the cheaper knock offs chip and flake. |

Installed black grills from Turner on my e92, had them for three years and they were great - no flaking or chipping, look really sharp.
