Anyone know what this might be?

I heard an unusual noise when putting the top up the other night, and I find this tonight on the right-hand side of the trunk to the right of the trunk partition

Mine fell off also, it is a slider for a metal piece on the trunk lid to run agains on one of the main support arms. I put mine back on with some emblem glue - you probably will notice a louder clunk when the trunk lid closes now during the roof cycle.

Will take a pic in a minute for you.

Yes yes!!! That's exactly what I heard when it happened Rob. Since I'm under warranty I think I'll get it fixed at the dealer tomorrow

Well shit it looks like it's missing from both sides- what the hell? I can't find the other one, so God knows where it went...

Ah well looks like I am dropping it off at the dealer to get this straightened out.

Apparently the adhesive just isn't up to the task, mine was under warranty then it fell off (only the driver side one for some reason), but decided to glue it on and then take it to the dealer then that failed and it has been on there for like 4 years. Oddly the passenger one has never come off!
