Stick with the red rear reflectors?

I was seeing how this would look with a mineral grey F30. Yes or no? I'm leaning toward keeping the red reflectors on. I have the painted reflectors on the side which look great.

This won't be a popular opinion, but painted reflectors look weird to me…to me they actually make the car look less clean, because now the car looks like it has an unnecessary rectangle just placed in the bumper - it really doesn't seem any different than if, say, there was a useless body colored square in the middle of your doors. Lines/seams for the reflector are ok because the reflector serves a purpose. With painted reflectors, the body just looks like it has unnecessary lines.

I'd rather leave another bit to warn the guy behind me there is a car in front then remove the reflectors.

^^^ I dont get the rush to remove functional safety equipment just for a minor and dubious cosmetic change.

I considered this on a BSM, and was going to paint them the grey color that the M Sport diffuser comes in. But in the end, I agree with puma...the lines look odd.

I'm sticking with the red. You can't argue with the experts on here.

If anyone does want these for the rear, I'll sell them at a much reduced price..from iND

I've been removing reflectors since I was a little kid! The first thing I did with a new bicycle was take it home and remove the reflectors.

While I put painted reflectors on the front of my 335, I don't mind the reflectors in rear.

^Same here.

Kept the reflectors in the back, but got a Taiwan front bumper without the reflectors...

So no unnecessary orange rectangles in the front for me, but in the back it do cut nicely the bumper line.

I totally understand your point. I thought of that too. But I still hate the stupid reflectors, especially the front ones. If I had money to burn (and I already do burn way too much of my money on crap), I would have a body shop fill the holes. Some have done it.

Who/where did you get it from? Was it painted or just primed?

I actually like the rear red reflectors. Have seen them on other f30s at night and I think they look good.
