E85

Hey guys going to the 1/4 track last minute and wanted to run e85 on my car. I have the BMS stage two but I don't have the cable to switch to the e85 map nor do I have the fuel mass connector. I wanted to use about 3/4 gallons of e85 mixed with 93. Would I be okay doing that?

No. If you look on the other forum, burger's you will see that trying to run e85 on the 328 has led to many issues, even with a stage 2. Not to mention the cracked heads at 330 torque. Also even if you could safely shouldn't run anymore than 40%

320s can because of the higher compression ratio, but given the info on the heads having problems many have seem to stay away from it.

Bottom line, burger does not recommend e85 on a 328i

The exact quote from the website so you know I'm not trolling you is

"JB4 E85 USE

If equipped with the FlexFuel add on connector E85 mixtures may be used with pneumatic wastegate x28i models and the x20i electronic wastegate models. E85 is NOT supported for the electronic wastegate x28i model. When using E85 a mixture of no more than 40% is suggested."

Considering you have a 2013, you don't most likely have a pneumatic wastgate and have an electronic one.... Thus, not supported
