anyone uses weathertech all season mats/liners?

Hey all,

I am looking to buy a set of rubber mats or potentially floor liners for the F30. Checked in with a dealer and they are quoting way higher than weathertech so OEM mats are out of question (heard they are manufactured by weathertech also?)

Wondering if anyone has experience with WT products. I am specifically interested in the fit and whether the mats extend far enough up to the sides and the firewall (so salt stain doesn't get on the carpet)

I understand that the floor liners are the best protection out there but they are considerably more expensive than the rubber mats.

I have used WT over the years in several cars. They always fit perfectly. I have the trunk liner in my 328i now since it was the only mat including OEM that provided cutouts to access the cargo net tie downs.

Took my Weathertech from my 335is including the trunk mat & put them into the 435. Close enough fit for government work.

Quality product & BMW does contract with them for their US mats.

Fit and finish are perfect. Have them in wife's ML350, just put some in my 435. Not sure if they make a cargo liner, trunk liner for my f33? Great product.

Great investment for $100. I have kids and the back carpet would be trashed without them. Perfect fit and great price.

Just got mines, perfect fit but not rugged enough like VW Monster Mats. Kind of slippery finish (they don't have perpendicular ribs to hold your foot in position). They also move, anchors are not keeping them tight in place.

hmm interesting. Maybe its a lemon? Have you talked to them about it?

And interesting thought about ribs holding feet in position. Naturally I don't think it's a problem for me giving my driving position but I guess this is the best option out there overall.

Just checked WT website and only saw the trunk liner for the F32.

Here's what I got. 2013 and 2014 should be the same.

I agree with you in that this is the best option out there overall, particularly for winter slush. But consider it a liner, not so much of grip mat.

I have used the BMW liner, which I believe is contracted out and made by Weathertech. It's nice and high enough for the rear seats and the front passenger side, but for the driver side, the edge where the liner fits underneath the accelerator pedal is low enough that slush and water overflows under the liner into the carpet. That was the only thing negative about the liners, not to mention eventual scuff marks and what not, which you would not normally see with carpeted or thick rubber mats.

I got the floor liners due to the high walls they have. I gues mats probably have more grip, but not sure they're that good for winter slush going into the carpet (And I have Venetto Beige interior).

Thanks for all the replies guys. Ended up ordering a set of WT rubber mats! Too bad they don't have the red trim OEM ones, but function > style when it comes to something you step on

Ya the liners appeared a little thin from pictures, hope the mats work well for me!

True. I have black carpets so main concern is salt stain. I guess I will just be careful and shake as much off my boots as I could before getting in during winter.

You'll be happy with them don't worry. I have weather tech floormats in my truck, and so does damn near everyone I know. Generic Wal-Mart/Costco floor mats more or less fit but always leave something exposed/catch on things. Weathertechs are basically form fitted to each vehicle and fit perfectly.

Loved them for the fit, but I ordered the liners (previous 335i).
Not too good for winter, bottom of pants were dipping in salt melting snow...

Should order the mats for this one, since the fit's so great.

How do they look in terms of fitting in with the rest of the materials? I'm about the pull the trigger on the ones that match my beige interior but I'm worried they'll look too out of place. I have black weathertechs in my truck which matches well with it's more rugged looks but I'm torn on how it'll look in a more luxurious interior

I have a beige interior also. I put the black ones in. I believe you'll be happy with the choice.
