One New RFT? or All?

So, 2013 X1 xDrive 281 - purchased 02/25/2013 w/20,000miles...now with a nail in passenger rear RFT, it is not holding the air. The dealer will replace tire, Pirelli 255/35 R 19 92 W. Someone told me or I read somewhere that all tires should be replaced. What is your advice? I bought the 5-year Tire and Wheel Protection. Is it ok to just replace one tire? I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area (yes, the earthquake woke up!), very mild weather. Let me know!

You'll very likely have a lot of noise from the differential if you don't replace all four. I replaced one with about 6k miles and things were noisy until about 1k miles later when we got another flat. I just replaced all three remaining tires and things have been quiet since. I had similar issues with a few quattro Audii too.

I agree with Red. Replacing one tire is a bad idea. You'll get a lot of noise until all four go on new at the same time.
