0-60 times on bigger tyres

Given that the new M3/4 struggles to get it's power down due the high torque, I'm wondering if anyone out there has upgraded the stock tyres and been able to improve traction, and lay down some quicker sprints and improve general track performance.

My car arrives in 2 days and I think this will be the first mod I look to do.

Whilst on the topic, has anyone out there recorded any sub 4 second 0-60 times ?

Don't think wider tyres gona help get quicker times ..
Thinkk if any it will slow u down ..
But will help to achieve higher exit speeds ..

You are correct that "wider" isn't necessarily better but "more grip", however that is accomplished, absolutely will improve times IMO.

Every time I floor it from a roll in 2nd and the tires squeal and slip it puts a smile on my face but makes the car slower.

I think BMW should put at least 285 in the back but ideally 295 would be best.

I completely agree. The torque and power of this car is screaming for a PSS in a 295 or 305 rear. I never can understand why every car manufacturer seemingly undersizes the rear. The C63 had 255!!! The C7 had a 285... better but not great. Geesh, MB, Chev and BMW really need to beef these suckers up. Porsche seems to be better at decent read tires on their 911.

I'd love to have 295s on mine for looks alone. I think the ZCP package likely will include new wheels with 295s. Or at least on the M4 GTS. But in the end not worth the cost to buy a full set of those wheels and tires. If only 295s fitted the current wheels.

The issue you are going to run into though is with a 275/35/19 out back as OEM and you runa 295/30/19 there is .6-.7" difference in circumference than OEM.

I would like to know if you can run a 285/30/19 out front and a 305/30/19 out back. Now you are within .3" OEM tire diamaters.
