Just bought a new BMW 335i ///M Sport

Hi All,

I'm really excited to continue being part of the BMW family. Well, like the title says, I just bought a brand new BMW 335i ///M Sport, fully loaded (Cold W, Tech, Premium, MSport, HK sound system). I traded-in my 2009 E90 which was a GREAT car but I'm really liking the F30. Still missing my E90 and need time to get used to the F30 ride. The car has a excellent balance between comfort/sport and I'm really liking the 19'inch wheel ride -- I'm glad I went with 19'inches!

All I can say is WOW!

Here is a picture I took at the dealership. I will take more pictures and post again in a day or two!
are a couple of pictures
Thanks!

Congrats! Is this a 2014 or 2015 model? the ride with 19" more comfortable than your E90 with 17" wheels? How is the handling between the two?

Thanks! I got the 2014 mainly because not much has changed on the 2015 and the dealer in my area gave me a huge discount. The car had only a few miles on it and it was probably test driven once or twice. On top of this, the dealer didn't have the color combination that I was interested in the 2015 (Grey Metallic/Black Interior).

As much as I loved my E90, I have to say the F30 is better in every corner. In simple terms, it a much more "refined" sport sedan. The 19'inch ride on the F30 is 70% close to the E90 one (with sport package). Once you put the F30 in sport mode then it gets more interesting and closer to probably 85%. The steering is definitely lighter but still very accurate. I am liking it so far and the car also feels very comfortable for the passengers, more space and much quieter. So for a 30% lighter steering you are getting a more comfortable yet sporty ride. However, if you are a hardcore enthusiast you maybe disappointed slightly. But for the street and daily driving, I feel this car is better than my E90.

I drove the E90 for 6 years and I was a little concerned about the driving dynamics of the F30 as well but going with the 19'inch wheels definitely helps. The car looks much sharper as well.

The transmission shifts lightning fast...changing lanes on the 335i is super easy. I think I'm also getting used to the steering now and starting to like it.

Haven't got a chance to take more pics but will do it soon!

Car looks fantastic. If you want a sportier ride invest in HR sports springs and Bilstein b8 shocks and the car will be perfect.

The Mineral Grey looks amazing under the sun. Just of curiosity, did you consider the F36 gran coupe when you bought your F30? What made you choose the F30 in the end?

Thanks everyone! I didn't look much into the 4-series so can't comment much. I'm not really a big fan of the 4-series gran coupe and need more time to get used to it. Its almost a 3-series but more expensive? I guess. It looks nice though!
