2014 335i auto stop not working

Picked car up Saturday , auto stop not working, it's a six speed tried button off and on , in neutral brake on clutch released. Is there something in nav settings to make it work?

From the owner's manual:

Note
The engine is not switched off automatically in
the following situations:

▷ External temperature below approx. +37 ℉/
+3 ℃.
▷ The external temperature is high and automatic
climate control is running.
▷ The passenger compartment has not yet
been heated or cooled to the required level.
▷ The engine is not yet at operating temperature.
▷ The wheels are at a sharp angle or the steering
wheel is being turned.
▷ After driving in reverse.
▷ Fogging of the windows when the automatic
climate control is switched on.
▷ The vehicle battery charge is very low.
▷ The engine compartment lid is unlocked.
▷ The parking assistant is activated.
▷ Stop-and-go traffic.
▷ The transmission selector lever is in position
N or S/M.

Are you falling into any of these scenarios? Some of them are rather vague, unfortunately.

How long are you driving around? You have to wait until the engine is warm enough and the battery has built up a sufficient charge.

Why wouldn't they? Steering and throttle sensitivity (and if you have DHP, the suspension stiffness) still need to be adjusted.

Why the need for ASS with a 6MT? Maybe we want to save gas too!
Although honestly I NEVER have it on. To me it feels like I stalled the engine, plus I rarely am ever in the situation where it would do any good.

^ This! Who cares for the quarter of an ounce of fuel you'll save by the sacrifice of turning your car on and off a bazillion times in a year.

I do notice a difference in my morning commute which is all surface streets. The evening is mostly freeway and I average an MPG more in the morning on most occasions. Saved money toward Whistle Pig.

Fair enough. So guess you need to stop asking the "experts" here and take the car into the dealership. Look like you did all the routine things to get it to work.

It works in sport mode, don't know about sport+, can't remember, unless it's different on the 6MT...
