Is the 335 I the best car ever made?

After driving the MY2014 335 I for the past four months, I can say that IMO it is the best car I've ever driven. Before everyone starts to argue, I'd like to say that I'm a car enthusiast and have owned/ driven many cars in my life, some way more powerful and expensive than the 335 I. Does everything right

The more I drive this thing the more impressed I get woohoo....

I don't know about the "best car ever made", but it's the best BMW I've ever owned, and between my wife and I, we've owned 3 E46 3-series, an E92 and E88 (128i Convertible). I loved my Dinan S3 E92, but it had some shortcomings that aren't present in the F30.

In this car category, quite possibly.

Overall, that title in my book goes to the E39 M5. That car was something special! I think E39 was the best mid-size car that BMW ever made.

I think for people who want a little bit of everything, it's definitely one of the (if not THE) best options, ever. Looks, 4 doors, storage, safety, power, handling, luxury/options...it's unbelievably well balanced in everything that goes into a car. And yes, if it's taken care of it will last a long long time. It's expensive, but not so much that it's not attainable for many. It's not the best at any 1 thing, but it might be the best at everything. In my humble opinion of course.

Also, you can't quantify "best ever". You can quantify acceleration, options/materials, slalom handling/skidpad holding, etc. But things like looks, steering "feel" (the very word is subjective to each individual), cannot be assumed to be true for everyone.

For me a 328i is better because fuel economy was more important (I drive apprx. 70km's per day for work), than the extra power of the 335i. Anyway, it's a great car in many aspects and if the OP believes it's "The Best Car Ever" FOR HIM, then it damn well IS.

at the moment it is one of the best cars to purchase (Low price, Luxury + tunable engine for cheap).

Edit : i thought im in the E90 section. My answer for your question is NO. i hate the F30 steering.

Sorry, but NO. There are too many cars that are great at certain things. The steering doesn't feel as good as the previous car. If your question was: Is this the best BMW non-M sedan...I would have to give that to the E46 6MT 330i ZHP. While it doesn't have the torque or power, it was lighter, had really good steering feel, great mileage, sounded great, had instant throttle response when you were in the power band and looked great. Overall, that one gets my nod. I do think that the new 335i is beautiful though and great sedan proportions and comfort but it has taken a step back in sportiness compared to the ZHP.

You guys are taking the OP way too seriously. All he is saying is he likes his 335i and I have seen a couple of his posts before. He definitely has driven and is aware of the multitudes of cars that are better than his car.

My first BMW was an E39 530i.. I loved that car.
