Question Seattle BMW turbo replacement

Has anyone had their turbos replaced for waste gate rattle by Seattle BMW?
Did they give you the run-around?

Have not, but if you have any mods and you don't know someone, they'll most likely just give you the go around.

Hit up facebook.com/isgaragellc and they can schedule you in regardless of if you've modded.

Hope that helps!

+1 for IS garage. Ian does great work and is way more reasonable than the stealer. If you're still under warranty, I'd go with bmw of Bellevue as they seem to be a lot more mod friendly (at least in my experience) but if it's not warranty related, you'll get the best deal and best quality of work done by Ian.

I have been a long time BMW Seattle customer since buying my car there is 2011. However after my last three experiences I will not be returning there.

Their service advisers are very hit and miss, I have had fantastic service from Susanne Fox and her shop forman Michael but everyone else has dropped the ball over and over again.

I have had alignment go back 3 times on two separate trips. I have had my car returned to me no put back together properly (the seat base of all things) and with tools left in the back passenger compartment.

I have had misleading advice and wrong statement from one service adviser who then gave me the run around and would not answer the phone only email.

Sad to say as they were so good at the beginning of my ownership now I will not be going back.

Ive had my turbos replaced twice for wastegate rattle. the third time they needed it, they claimed that its something that just happens and they can fix the sound but would cause turbo lag

My friend and I got our turbos replaced for wastegate rattle at BMW seattle. We came in fully bolted on, save for tune. I don't think it matters so much where you go, but who your service adviser is. Our dude was super cool.
