BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 23,250.00

Item Interest
I'm selling my beloved 335i because I have too many cars. (Just picked up a 2015 Subaru WRX...)

Here's the details:

2009 335i 6-speed automatic sedan. 58000 miles.
  • Leather
  • Auto-dimming mirrors (including exterior)
  • Fold-down seats
  • Sport package (springs/shocks, steering wheel paddles, seats, I think?)
  • Winter package (heated seats, mirrors, steering wheel (!) )
  • Professionally-installed audio upgrades (Focal/Jehnerts speakers, JL Audio amps, MS-8 processor, custom trunk sub box)
  • 19x8.5"/19x9.5" VMR V701wheels, Michelin Pilot SuperSport tires 245/35R19, 275/30R19

Modifications:
  • Wavetrac limited slip differential
  • BMW M3 sway bars
  • BMW M3 front control arms
  • BMW M3 rear subframe bushings
  • 2.5" catless downpipes (stock downpipes will go with the car)
  • CP-e intercooler upgrade
  • Cobb AccessPort
  • Custom ECU tune. 379 rwhp, 388 ft-lbs
  • Ventureshield "clear bra"
  • 35% tint
  • Craven Speed tow hook license plate mount (still have factory mount)

Body and paint are nearly perfect.

Maintenance has been performed on schedule (actually more frequently than factory schedule). We just did walnut blasting of the intake valves a couple thousand miles ago. It has fresh brake pads.

KBB for "Very Good" condition is $21,400. The mods cost around $10,000 including install. I'm looking for $23,250 for it.

I'm in the DC area, but could ship at your expense. Figure $1000 will get it to most parts of the U.S. Contact me here by PM, or at dan(at-sign)machv.com.

It's nicer than the older models. Still an inexpensive car, but the interior is a little more upscale. Stiffer suspension than the older models, by a lot. Smaller twin-scroll turbo spools really fast.

Uh, what? You're asking if a $28,000 WRX is better than a $48,000 BMW? There's the advantage of cheapness. But the 335i is a better car in just about every way. (It should be!)

I bought the WRX because I sell parts for these cars and I needed one for R&D, not because I like it more than the 335i.

I know which car is better. Still some aspects such as traction (only one comes to mind) could go to the wrx.
