Question Can't see my POI's...What am I doing wrong???

As above really. I've never seen any POI's on my Pro Nav but I've selected to have certain ones visible in the options screen. I assume they would display like any other Nav System???
If anyone could take a photo of their screen with POI's visible then I would really appreciate it. I just need to know if my Nav is faulty or not.
Of course if someone knows what I'm doing wrong then please recommend a fix.
I did a search on here but nothing came up.
Cheers

going from memory here as nowhere near my car at present........on the menu running down the side of the map one of the options is to turn POI s on or off - also one of the options allows you to customise & choose which categories of POI are shown or hidden

that is all I have!!!!!!

Ok - next step - try a full reset on your nav system

hold down the on/off/mute button for about 15-20 secs and it will do a hard reset - you know you have held the button for long enough when you get a black screen and then the starting up graphics

hope that made sense - it made perfect sense when typing it!!!!!!

thinking about it, is it possible you have asked the system to show POIs but you have not checked any categories??????????

I bet the answer is simple once you find it!!!!! LOL

Not sure if this helps, but to get POI's to display on the map you need to go to Option > Display Points of Interest > (then select the relevant categories etc..)

Then from the map view itself, go to left hand side menu and scroll to Map Views > Additional Info > Points of Interest and toggle that on/off

THAT'S IT! At last
The key part of the process was... 'go to left hand side menu and scroll to Map Views > Additional Info > Points of Interest and toggle that on/off'
I knew it would be something simple like that!
Another question if I may? The POI's have a '+' sign hovering over them - how do I select them and what will it show me?
Thanks everyone for your help

I keep meaning to look into this, not sure, I believe it means there is additional data about the POI (such as web/email address etc..), but I think you can only see the additional data when you search for the POI rather than being able to select it straight off the map, couldn't see an obvious way to select it last time I saw one like that.

When you explore the map (in the mode that let's you scroll around) you can tap on POIs with a + and it gives you an extra option of viewing details like phone numbers and web addresses etc.

Oh yes the interactive map option, I did wonder there must be a way to click on those POI's somehow

Added the extra poi's myself today

On a side note, when I try and change the colour (under options) both options appear the same. Anyone else notice this?

Yeah I've noticed the same. Weird. I've also noticed when I select 'weather' or 'satellite images' from the additional options tab nothing comes up on the screen. Anyone else???

There's an option somewhere to change the map view to Traffic Info Map, it all looks dark grey and if it's enabled it will override those colour option.

You need to zoom out a bit, the satellite and weather overlay will show up if you zoom out sufficiently.
