Funny Things we Do for Brand New Cars!

I know for one when I first get my new car, I get a lot of exercise!! Because when Parking, I look for the furthest, least car crowded, preferably with one side to a curb, Parking Space that I can find. LOL I hate dings!!

When my car reaches around 4 Years Old, I get closer and closer in the Parking Spaces! LOL

Just wondering if you guys do that, or anything else that you may consider "unusual".

I park that far from anywhere that we have to catch a bus back (lol) for the same reason

the car stays impeccably clean the first few months of ownership...like....wipe down every day! and then the older it gets the less care i take haha.

same goes for the parking.

This is my first brand new car - I have been parking very far from people, in general, I'm also a much more cautious driver with the car because I don't trust other people/drivers.

I did that for the for the first 2-3 days i owned my brand new f30.
I got it on Friday, had to go on a business trip on Monday.
Gave the car to the gf, come home after 4 days to find out that while she was driving my F30 she reversed into my older toyota Celica.
I stopped caring about parking spots after that

I never really parked far from people anywhere. Even with my new car, I've had no dings etc. from people that have parked next to me.

LOL, Yep same here, after every drive I would wipe it down. Taking a toothbrush to clean small areas on the outside, and a light bristle brush for the inside.

Now I'm lucky if I wax it once per year. lol.

LOL......oh yeah the first scratch is the worst!! What I dislike most is parking, and being inside the car (tinted windows) so no one knows you are inside, and the person pulls in next you and opens their door and just BANGS it into your door!!

I'm VERY OCD about my car and always park like that. I don't see it ever stopping either since the longest I will ever keep a car again is 3 years.

If something I own becomes less than 100% condition it will make me lose sleep.

My boss asked for a ride to the Pentagon. I said sure, as long as you clap your feet before you get in and don't put your fingers on my paint. She thought that was funny until she realized I was serious.
