Rear Fog lights
Amigos our cars are equipped to use the rear fog lights but are not connected, all you have to do is pull out the fog light space(below the front fog lights switch) which BTW is not marked with two flatheads and clip 4 prongs of it make sure the WHITE male plug is there before cutting the prongs connect to the faceplate and turn on vehicle to see if it works BUT!! if you want more style then go this route buy the entire switch which BTW is cheaper now than before at $149 here's the link for those interested:
http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E90-335...ing/ES1866753/ OOps didnt realize they were on special $126 and free shipping

Concur - I just removed the tabs myself - they work just as fine. Love using them at tailgaters

that mod is free if youre willing to live with using a button that doesnt have a marking on it. No real need for the euro switch.
That price, by the way, is completely out of line unless the dealership prices have skyrocketed. Dealer price used to be $55 for that switch |

Yep you can use your current switch just gotta remove the housing and dremel down the tabs. Saved my ass in the heavy rain and works great for florida highway tailgaters haha. The process takes like 30 minutes just make sure you have the plastic pry tools.
Link for anyone who wants to do it: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=531296 Same concept for e90s

Someday I'll get my lazy ass up to do this free mod. Best believe I have to deal with lots of asshat tailgaters during my commutes.

rear fogs are illegal. And they are euro rice.
Obviously opinions vary, but you can be fined for having rear fogs enabled on public roads. DOTMV is strict on lots of stuff that isn't enforced (side reflectors, for instance) so buyer beware. All that said, I'll probably do it just so I have something to do some day |

I stand corrected. They're illegal to use unless visibility is under 500 feet.
What I recall reading was people getting ticketed for using them when not necessary, as driving with your brights on 100% of the time is illegal. |

Why don't they try ticketing all the people with HIDs in their halogen housings first... grr... another topic altogether though.
