Hi guys just did the Un4gettable test drive, drove a 428GC, a 428 Coupe, and a Lexus IS Convertible (while I was waiting for the BMWs).

I was all set on getting a 4GC, but the one I really loved was the the Red 428 Coupe shown below. Never even considered a Red car before but this one I really liked and now just have to think about if I can get away with a 2 door.

The GC and the coupe are pretty much the same car ... Not sure why you liked the coupe and not the GC?

my thought exactly i once saw if i "could make do" with a 2-door coupe. as an only car, the answer was a very expensive "no". ymmv

Yes not sure guys, it's definitely going to be a 428 Sport or a 4GC Sport/M-Sport. I like the M-Sport but don't really like the 18" M-Sport wheels. I like the Sport wheels but I want M-Sport steering wheel...

Color-wise I think I'll go Mineral Grey/Coral leather or Red/Black leather.

The M Sport GC shown in your picture has the 18" silver wheels. If you order M Sport now, you will get the same 18" wheels, but in Ferric Grey color.

Out of curiosity, did you get the $1000 rebate credit for doing the event? I'm holding off three weeks on ordering mine to do the event, but nothing when I signed up for it or in the confirmation email referenced the $1000. Just want to make sure as otherwise I would just order the thing already

My dealer just gave me 2000 off, they said 1000 is from BMW and the other 1000 from them. Just hang in there and your incentive may be doubled

Yes I did, it came via email about a week after the event, and is valid for 60 days.

Was it valid for 60 days from the day of the event, or when you received the email with the offer?

I actually think the GC is the slightly better looking car...but no 6MT. It's not a deal-breaker for me like it is for some, but a 4GC with a 6-speed would be really sweet. You can get one in the F32 coupe and the F30, so why not the F36?
