Anybody here going to that event at MetLife Stadium this saturday or has ever been to one similar (what was it like)?

Just went today. It's really fantastic. I did the M3/M235 Car control clinic. It was like a mini M school.

The folks that are doing autocross have a reasonably large track to open up some 528s and 228s. Mostly 228s. Then the instructors take you on some very terrifyingly awesome hot laps. It looked like a blast, but to be honest the instructors were saying "that's nothing compared to what we're doing".

New M3... 2 thumbs up.

Another session is coming to Citi Field in October.

You have to be invited to get the code.

If you were not invited just use the no code option to complete the registration

I went to this event and unfortunately ended up with the 5 series. The 5 series sucks and I am not even sure why they brought it there for auto crossing. Or more importantly why I ended up going there when I knew I could only get into the 5 series, lol.

The event was also lame since there was always someone in the car with you. I think I only drove the car for 3 laps.

Don't waste your time with the 5 series

yeah im curious why they had the 5 series doing autocross. maybe to prove that a big car like that can be just as nimble?

How many laps did you do?

6 laps, but they only timed the last one.

I went to this event on 7/19/2014. I did the 2 series autocross. The car was a 228i with M Performance parts. It was fun.

you got timed? interesting....they didnt time our last lap. I wonder if it was because it started to drizzle and the track got greasy
