The O2 sensor was kind of a bear to break loose when I removed it from the DPF canister during some alterations to my exhaust system. Took a lot of force... I reused it, so didn't replace it. Looks like the replacement part comes with the full wiring and connector. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...87&hg=13&fg=15

Thanks for the info. So only one sensor?
Well i didn't have any issues until 60k. Had the usual recurring ses light, carbon build up, zero adaptation faulty injector errors. Despite all that, car always drove normal and as usual like day of delivery. At 85k, had short engine and then dde replaced after PUMA case opened. Warranty paid out. No issues since then, since its essentially a new car. Do early oil changes and flushes. I follow the cbs checklist and i have an indy mechanic that doesnt rip me off like stealership. |

One recommendation, take off the old O2 sensor while the exhaust is still hot!
2 days ago I took one off my ML55 AMG while the car was cold; it damaged the threads on the exhaust bung. Now I have to re-thread. PITA. |

I used some antiseize on the threads and reused sensors. I have only 32,500 miles. I made sure to not get anywhere near actual sensor. |
