For Sale, BMW Z4 06+ Angel Eye Xenon Headlights Conversion

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
For sale,
Came off my Z4, New condition and I don't need them for my ///M

BMW OEM Parts!
This is a complete PLUG AND PLAY swap, Ive spent HOURS and HOURS getting this to work with factory non Xenon lights, People might remember all the threads I made about these, Finally I got them working, Then I sell the car for my ///M lol,
The ONLY thing I cannot re-wire is the flash to pass when the headlights are on, Sadly the factory non xenons are wired without the wire needed to power the dual xenon motor,
You get flash to pass no problems when the headlights are off, But when they are on you loose it, Its never been a problem for me but thats what you get when you don't factory order Xenons
Now this has been tested to work with the 06+ models due to the LED rear lights,
You will notice I'm including the correct $400 Light control module as well, you NEED this to get these headlights to work and this module was brand new bought from BMW, I believe only a few people in the world have managed to pull this conversion off and from what I recall I was the first, I'm sure previous years will be fine but this was tested for a 06 Z4, You will NOT get any headlight out bulbs flash on the gauges, The Computer will know you have Xenons due to the new LCM included, as mentioned this is a complete plug and play swap and no one Ive ever seen has offered all this completely pre-wired, Also to mention you will NOT need to visit the dealer to re-code anything.
Will make your Z4 look like this

Looking for $999 plus shipping for all
Contact me at "starscream88@gmail.com"
Would prefer check/MO as I don't trust paypal too much after being burned by a member on THIS board who will remain nameless. If Paypal is the only means of payment then I'll take it but would prefer not too.

as mentioned above these were fitted to a 06 Z4, Which I believe has the same wiring as prev years so you should be fine,

yes you would still need the module as your current module is wired for your lights,
When you swap to these lights they need the module in order for it all to work,

I have a stock 03 Z4, if I were to buy this everything would work perfectly fine? I'm not familiar with the "flash" you mentioned. And, would I have to change my rear lights as well?

Flash = High beams
You wont have them when the headlights are on,
as for the rear lights I don't know, I would assume they are fine but Ive never tried it with the pre facelift tails

Sorry to OT, but Z20, what did it take to swap in the facelift tails? Direct plug-n-play with '05? Any issues? PM me if you can please. Thanks.

Has the headlight module been programmed on your Z4? If it has it will not work with another Z4. The headlight module is one of the 2 places where the car's mileage is stored and once it's assigned to a specific VIN after the initial programming it will not work with another Z4 without the mileage tampering light on the instrument cluster coming on. It cannot be reprogrammed to work on another Z4 (I found out the hard way).

Funny, I've never heard this before. Is this verified anywhere else or reported in any other threads?

Personal experience when I did the OEM xenon headlight retrofit on my '04.
