Gintani Downpipes Installed

I installed my downpipes on Friday. I will be going back tomorrow for a dyno, we didn't have time to put back the stock file.

Car sounds freaking amazing. It opened up the car on the top end, the low end you hear the turbos spool. LOVE it.

It's a must do.

I havent uploaded directly onto the forum but have them uploaded via instagram.

Sorry.

here are the links:

Actual downpipes: http://instagram.com/p/qU4hqhsF7g/

Reving the car: http://instagram.com/p/qXp3mnsF7G/

Quick Dyno Pull: http://instagram.com/p/qVWBlhMF6b/

Here is your dyno. The more we ran the car, the more power it made. Didn't turn the car off, didnt sit around waiting for a glory run. Every run was making more and more power. It just seems that the car is still adapting to the downpipes.

Here is the dyno:

Thanks,
Josh

Honestly, on start up maybe 20% louder.

If the valves aren't open (M Mode) you probably won't even tell that you have DPs. The second I turn my car on, M2 mode is active.

Driving around down, if you are not putting your foot down on the throttle, you wont tell a difference. Once you get on it, 3500 rpm and above, you will hear the difference. Sounds REALLY damn good.

Awesome! I get my whip next week, I'm thinking about ordering this right away. Only concerns were the CEL.

Looking forward to seeing the gains from the dyno!

How long did it take for install? Was it difficult?

You only changed the down pipe with stock exhaust correct?

I didn't do the install, I was waiting in the waiting room at Gintani. I was pretty excited, I think it was 45 minutes? Maybe 1 hour? Car was dropped then I drove it around the block.

I'm running a beta file that Gintani has been working on.. When it's fully done, I think it's safe to say this thing will be a rocket.

Thanks for the review! Our fabricator is currently building a few sets for customers who have already placed an order, so please PM me immediately if you would like to be next in line.

Installation can be completed in 1 hour as long as the car is cool. Otherwise, we have to wait for the down pipes and exhaust to cool down before we can work on it.

That was absolutely fantastic. The F80/2 should have had that throaty exhaust note from the factory IMO.

Sounds great! I love the sound of these in stock trim and this just amps all that up without creating a completely different sound. Nice work Gintani and OP.

Will you provide a real flash for this? Or it will be a piggy bag?
I know that it's not allowed to make a flash on f-series...

We have been working non-stop on a flash for these cars. We will not release a piggy back. We have also purchased our own F13 M6 and F32 435 shop cars to work on in development of these flashes.

You should get a CEL unless the beta flash gintani loaded suppresses it.
