Test driving an RS7 next week

Just got an email from a dealer I visited last year. They say they have an RS7 for me to rest drive. Thinking of using my 335 xi as winter car and use the RS strictly in summers. Can't get over the 560 hp. Please don't hate.....test drove the M5 around the same time but really for the money, wasn't impressed with the interior....any thoughts??

RS7 is nice, but I prefer the CLS 63. I had the old generation (W219) and loved the power of the 6.2 L V8. The new CLS 63S (W218) has the 5.5 L V8 Biturbo putting down 550 HP/590 lb-ft torque which btw is underrated. Motor Trend dynoed that M157 engine at 676 HP/636 lb-ft torque. Plus, the interior on the CLS is superb imo. Ever look at the M6 Gran Coupe?

I just email my BMW dealer regarding the M6. I would also like to test drive one the same day if they have one available. Awaiting a response..

RS7 will blow you away in the power department. The torque is immense. The ride is a bit floaty for me, but I drove one on air suspension. The auto tranny is pretty fast for a non DCT as well.

I've heard a lot about it and been in the passenger seat of my friends RS7. Could not believe how it pinned me down to my seat when he took off. Very excited to try it myself. He won't let anybody drive his car

Why would you get a 4-door, AWD luxury sport sedan as a "summer car."

one guy on the M5 forum just bought an RS7, remember reading the thread when I was at work. He used to own an M5 and M6, that will definitely be some valuable feedback

Not a wagon type guy. I'm basically going to buy it based on the performance. Too much power for the weather where I live. 335xi will be fine in winter plus I can use the wife's x5 as well

Sounds a lot like what I'm cross-shopping! I just took the Cayenne Turbo out for a test drive last weekend. That thing gave me the giggles! Def try it out! CLS interior looks too much like my parents and in-laws C/E/G classes. Haven't talked to Audi yet on test driving the RS7 but lookin fwd to what you think! M6 looks too similar to my 335 which is gonna annoy me...

The APR tune makes the car ridiculously fast. S8 would be another solid option. Great cars - big money, but great cars.

Trying to use my connection to get a better deal. Owner of the dealership is my wife's cousin but unfortunately he's been in Europe for the last three weeks. They have three on their lot

I get AoA FnF, but even with that, it will not get much on the more rare cars.

on an A6, sure, S4 maybe, RS anything, nah
