New guy here...
Hey everyone.
Been poking around in this forum for the past two weeks. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first eVer BMW. en route is a 2014 335 xdrive. Mineral grey, driver assistance, navigation, premium, and heated seats. Being that this is my first ever BMW, I did not get a specific trim line. Which I regretted for a little while. But I will do better once this lease is up in 3 yrs. def will get either the sport or m-sport trim lines. So if anyone sees a no line mineral grey 335 in the nyc / Long Island area it might just be yours truly. Just wanted to pop in to introduce myself. Looking forward to interacting with all of you. |

Thx ck335
Already found a ton of useful information. I wish I knew the exact date. The stupid dealer keeps coming up with excuses. Last time I heard it was supposed to get to port this past Saturday. Meaning if all goes well I can pick it up this week. Unfortunately we are leaving on a family trip this Friday so the f30 will be collecting dust in my driveway. I guess better my driveway than on the dealer lot. So instead of driving my new toy I get to go all Clarke grizwald and road trip in our 2011 honda odyssey. Lol lol. Cue the national lampoons vacation theme song.... |

Sadly I did regret getting a no line. Being that this is my first bmw...and it's a lease I didn't feel the need to go whole hog on this one. If it truly lives up to its reputation...in 3 years I will get my 435 grand coupe loaded!!, I guess the one saving grace is that I found someone on this forum selling the sport line wheels (style 397) for a decent price. So I will grab those and save the stock wheels to be used as winter boots for the car. The stock wheels on the 335 are not the nicest... |

If the person on the forum doesn't come through, Dan, check with your dealer for take-off wheels. I got 397's for my no-line 328ix from mine for $3 more than the conti summer RFT's cost on Tire Rack (so I like to think that the wheels cost me three bucks and I just paid for the tires). These cars are beautiful in whatever trim you get them in!

thanks all for the warm welcome. Just from poking around in the forum for the past 2 weeks makes me feel as if i know everything there is to know about the car already.
Bri... i will check with the dealer abt the wheels if the side deal falls through.. which i hope not. Nick.. thanks man!! i'm in nassau county near roosevelt field mall. If there are any meetups (im specifically interested in the coding meetups that i read about) let me know. agreed that the car is beautiful regardless, however adding nice wheels to it just enhances it even more. once i get the car (i pray its this week.. please oh please let it be this week) i'll post some pictures and give my initial feedback on the vehicle. its my very first bmw so i'm super excited originally it was going to be an infiniti q50s but the wife shot that down due to its exterior appearance. there was nothing visually about it that excited her. The BMW she felt was a much nicer car.. and i guess in a way i'm glad she shot down my initial choice. Coming from many honda's and nissans.. this will be a welcomed change!! got teh car from Bayside BMW... i was dealing with every dealership within 50 miles of here and they were the best in terms of pricing. I hear bad things abt the service center, so i might go to Habberstad for service since rallye is not taking new clients (unless u bought the car there) thanks again all.. hope to interact with everyone extensively with everyone on this forum! Oh and lol speaking of Q- class..is Infiniti like giving their cars away cause I recently been seeing them out of no where...like alot of them on the road... I usually service my car at Competition but bought my car from a friend that is a SA at Rallye. You'll love BMW, i just traded in my 09 335i waiting for my new 4- to arrive...and I tried looking into others...audi/infiniti/mercedes...but nothing compared... This was my last car... |

It has not been logged by BMW NA yet.
Your dealer would be able to tell you the name of the shipping vessel so that it can be tracked on marine traffic sites if it's still in transit. |

lol "your vehicle is in transit" uh.. thanks..hahahahaah
i have been in contact with my SA over @ bayside BMW and i think based on the last email he was telling me to leave him alone in a nice way... and i quote "And also when your car physically arrived at dealership then our Business manager will contact you to set up a pick up date. So, please wait for us to call you." so if thats not him telling me to leave him alone...i dont know what it is.. lol it is what it is.. like i said.. i'll be away on vacation.. so its not like i'd be able to drive it anyways. =o( thanks for the help! |

Also, don't sweat not getting an M-Sport, there's plenty of things you can do to make it look aggressive if that's the look you want, just enjoy your car!!!
