Worst day turned into best day turned into WTF???

Last week I was driving my F30 having a bit (read lots) of fun. I know my spots to have fun and spots where to take it easy. At this particular time I was taking it easy, maybe 10mph tops above the limit and I see a cop. I never thought he would pursue me but he did. I am a few months away from getting 3 points off my license so I can get my total points to zero. I really am taking this model citizenship to heart these days

Anyway the second he flashes his lights I immediately slow down and stop by a filling station, mad as hell but these are feelings you keep to yourself in these circumstance. He has just delivered a bad for me.

He walks over and I am in the process of putting together my license, reg and ins. "Afternoon sir, do you know the reason I am stopping you today?". I shrug thinking get this over with man, f***. Bad day.

"A car like this was used in shop lifting but all looks in order here" OMG, really that's all this is about. I am as happy as when I lost my virginity at this stage and I say wow, thank you sir and I lean over to shake his hand. He leaves me and I drive off. Happy day

As I am driving off it dawns on me that WTF, first off this is an EBII F30, I understand criminals can afford anything they want, Bugattis even but who is buying an EBII F30 to shoplift? Rob a bank maybe but shoplift????!

Lol that's my story, hopefully I achieve my goal of zero points soon

Errrrrr. I would suggest the car used in the robbery would've been stolen also.

Lol, that had not crossed my mind. I was thinking shoplifting groceries. Bergdoff Goodman here I come. I bumped into Joan Rivers outside that building at one time, if I had reached out for her necklace I might have paid off my car, lol.

It's a good thing you kept your mouth shut and didn't say something stupid like "I was only doing 10 or 15mph over, I swear!". Lol!

Shoplifting is an addiction. Some see it as a game. A challenge. It's a mental illness. Many Hollywood celebrities are caught shoplifting. Pretty cheap stuff too. It's just that kick they get out of it I guess. If you let me loose in a shop that exclusively sold BMW Performance parts, I might have to see whether or not I was sick in the head too.

Good luck with the points my man. What's next for you? A responsible, contributing life devoid of driver license points ... maybe a wife and baby and a house in the burbs? Oh wait, that's me.

It's always nice when an encounter with the law ends without you getting a ticket. I've been pulled over a few times and never gotten a ticket. It drives my wife nuts as she always gets a ticket.
