is this sound reasoning?

I currently own a 2011 335d with 45k miles- cpo starts at 50k until 100k or 2 years from 5/2015.

Should I wait until i get CBU to get software that reduces the egr duty cycle? My reasoning is that if I get it now the car might fail out of warranty.

No symptoms that i'm noticing, except for maybe slightly sub-par gas mileage, but I do make use of the available torque quite often

anyways, thoughts?

Thanks!

What is the software you are considering?

To me, its logical to use anything that significantly decreases CBU, since even if fixed under warranty requires taking apart portions of the engine and thus creating the possibility of problems from such intervention.
