Xdrive vs sdrive wheel alignment

I'm hearing from people that xDrive has adjustments on all 4 wheels whereas sDrive has only adjustable toe in the front for wheel alignment? Is that true?

After an expensive trip to replace all 4 tyres on New Year's Eve, I can confirm that my xDrive rear wheel adjustments consisted of both toe and camber. They were out by quite a margin it seems. The alignment operator hadn't done an X1 before, but commented that it was fairly similar to the 3 series. There was an eccentric bolt to adjust for the camber, and 3 bolts to allow the bottom arm to be adjusted for the rear toe. The front required a minor tweak to the steering rods for the front toe. I'm afraid I don't know for sure if the sDrive has rear adjustments, but I don't see why it shouldn't be a similar suspension setup to the xDrive underneath...

I'll dig it out and upload it later today when I'm home. I think I have both the "before" and "after reports.

Here's the measurements before and after adjustment. I have an xDrive 20i, owned from new for 3.5 years now, and its done 28,500 miles. This is the first time I've had the alignment checked, and it was done after fitting four new 225/50/18 tyres. They adjusted the rear camber and toe, and after that only a very small adjustment to the front toe was required. It could be just me, but the steering does feel a little lighter and sharper now, and hopefully the tyres will wear a little less after this...

The machine had settings for the F48 obviously, with both Standard and Sports suspension. Mine has the regular suspension setup. Hope this is useful to you maybe.
