lol im selling my car for the same reason, i'd say silver would be easier than the Sparkling Graphite, because SG is still kind of dark. I think im going with space gray this time but i don't think thats available on the Pre-LCI e90's.

I have SG, and it does stay "looking clean." The only real issue is brake dust on the wheels, so if you spray them off every so often, you're good to go!

Silver! It will always stay cleaner looking than any other color! Get SG though if you like detailing your car. After waxing silver you just don't get the same satisfaction that you would from detailing a darker color.

+1, so TiAg without a doubt.

I have a sparkling graphite E90 and also a silver Murano. I would say sparkling graphite is much more difficult to maintain then silver is. Of course it is much easier to maintain then black but it is dark enough to show swirls and imperfections like most darker colors. The metallic does pop really nicely in the sun when you take good care of it.

BMW Jet Black is the most elegant, but BMW TiAg (a) is easy to clean, (b) looks OK even when not clean, (c) reflects most sun radiation, which makes it coolest in summer.

^^^My thoughts exactly. Over the years, I have owned AW, SG, Tiag, and BSM. I love BSM when it's clean. Looks the best (along with JB) IMO. AW and TiAg can hide swirls and imperfections in the paint very well. But, they just don't have the shiny/wet "sparkle" effect to them as do darker colors. Grays hide imperfections well too, and can look stunning when detailed properly.

I've found my Sparkling Graphite to be quite easy to maintain, probably not as easy as silver but much more than Black.

Silver is a forgiving color (I have it on my TT). My wife's space gray 328xi is easier to keep clean than her previous sparkling graphite car. ALL are easier to keep clean than black.

This depends - are you asking which will LOOK dirty first or which is easier to wash and keep clean.
If you are asking the former question, there is truly no contest here, and I've owned 2 Sparkling Graphite cars and 4/5 Titansilber cars (and a Polarissilber). Titansilber looks clean even when it's filthy dirty.

I'll pile on the TiAg bandwagon...I'm on my second and can confirm that it's relatively easy to maintain and looks fairly decent even when dirty. As stated by others, it won't "pop" after waxing as much as the darker paints, however all BMW paints shine well after a good wax and buff.

I have SG now, and had TiAg before. The SG looks gorgeous right after a wash/wax... but it doesn't last long at all. The TiAg looked clean(ish) for much longer. I think that the darker colors look better on the sculpted surfaces of the more recent BMWs, but I honestly will probably get TiAg for my next car. (I would rather drive my car than wash it all the time)
