X2 release?

Is the X2 supposed to come out as a 2017 model this Fall?

I haven't seen any official confirmations yet. If we see it at the IAA in September or sooner, then there is a chance that it'll be released by the end of the 2016. But if they miss the Frankfurt motorshow, it'll be a 2017 release.

Personally, I'm a lot more excited about the new X3. I never liked X4/X6 and I'm sure I will feel the same about the X2. I'd love to see how the front end of the next X3 looks like and whether it has the same design language as the F48 or if the headlights join the grill like the current 7, X3, X5 and the upcoming 5 Series. It's hard to tell from the spy shots yet.

2017, from everything I've seen. New X3/X5 seems to be ahead in the queue, together with X7
