The green light on the "P" sign on gear stays ON
Hi,
I notice that even after stepping out of the car and locking it, the green light on the "P" (parking sign) on the gear stays on. Is this a norm with the BMW ? Again, just worried if it drains the battery. |

I find the accessories 12V power supply stays on for too long - about 10 mins after locking that car the power supply finally goes into sleep mode. Hence my dashcams stay on for that long before switching off. |

You'll notice the hazard warning triangle also stays illuminated after locking, I think it's to let any would-be car jackers know that you're likely to be nearby and an easy target
