SOLD!

. S. O. L. D. !!

Time for X1 family car to go -- new one coming soon

This Alpine White X1 has been a fantastically faithful family car...and a decent drive, too -- more economical than it deserves to be -- 8.2L/100km average over 57 months always on 98 fuel. We're sad to see it go.

  • Just under 75,000km on the clock
  • Jan 2016 build, from the 'good' factory (Regensburg, Germany); March 2016 compliance (registered until 30 March 2021, plates not transferable)
  • 170Kw turbo 2L 4 cyls, 8sp AT with paddles, AWD
  • Dynamic dampers, 18" wheels fitted with non-RFTs (Pirelli P7) defies all those reviews that say the X1 rides badly. It's a comfortable ride and still has sporty handling when pressing on. Space saver spare tyre, jack and toolkit under rear compartment
  • "Mocha" perforated leather upholstery, electronically adjustable, heated front seats (driver's with memory), lumbar support
  • Fine wood oak trims, front weathershields
  • Comfort access, Bluetooth etc
  • Panoramic sunroof (makes the interior a lovely light without too much heat)
  • Head Up Display, Navigation (maps up-to-date)
  • LED lights with cornering, auto high beam
  • auto wipers, rear camera, front and rear parking sensors
  • Cruise control/speed limiter
  • Adjustable (back and forward, back angle) split fold (40:20:40) rear seat for flexible family/load carrying
  • Auto tailgate....and lots more

Full service history with BMW. Recently replaced all brake rotors and pads, fitting ATE ceramic pads (low dust, nice progressive braking), genuine BMW mudflaps F/R

Always garaged, monthly wash/wax, detailed and ceramic sealed twice a year, PPF fitted to front-facing areas, back of r/view mirrors.
No accident damage, no hail damage -- clean and straight apart from minor chips (v.small) expected for its age. No finance owed, clear PPSR

If you need something bigger for a growing family and want something a little different to the Hyundai/Kias and Toyot@s thats a better drive, send me a PM or message/call me on +61(zero)410628655 (Australian cell)
$AUD35,950 negotiable
(but this seems at the low end from what I've seen)

Our X1 has sold!

It's being replaced by ....

....a new M240i, in Mineral White. So, I'll be heading over to the F22 area but will be sure to drop in from time to time. Cheers :

That's most kind of you, Mark.

Truth is I'm a long time bimmer fan; the X1 replaced a M135i, and — while I've steadfastly argued the case for the UKL cars like the F48, in the back of my mind is the persistent belief (ol' skool, I know) that a "proper" BMW is RWD, preferably with 6 cyl up front; all the better if it is turbo-charged! . That said, the X1 served our purpose as will, I'm sure, the F22. Bye for now

Enjoy your new car. I am the same as you with regards to the 6 cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive. My E91 (2007) 325d was such a car.
