CIC High to NBT

Hi,

I couldnt find much information in this retrofit, but currently I own a 2013 335i build date was July 26th 2013. its a 8.8 with nav and headup display aswell as hk system. I was told by the forums its called a cic high (basically a cic with nbt head unit connection), how does one retrofit nbt/nbt evo into this system? Is rewiring needed or is it pnp?
