New mesh edition
Was over picking up my new plates today and they pull this up on the floor. I’m not too impressed, it just didn’t have any pop. Unlike other mfrs that use the gray, at least on this X2, it looked a bit washed out…This is a new gray just for this car I believe, called “Brooklyn gray”…Not the “storm bay metallic” gray available for order.

Interesting - the color kind of reminds me of Porsche's "chalk"
I kind of like the front, but the fake metal-plasticky bits along the rocker panels don't do it for me. Which motor does this have? 302 HP? |

Isn't Brooklyn Grey an exclusive color for M cars? Anyway, I agree it kinda looks flat on the X2, probably better on cars with more creases in the body like the new M3, saw this over at the G80 section:
Still can't believe that grill... |

i cannot stand the new grilles and hopefully sales will show that people are not, from press response, going to purchases these monstrosities.
the regular version is better -- in fact the previous generation m3 is much more elegant, imo.

There are kits in Germany that solve this problem, my dealer says he’s investigating to see if it would be viable here, re: Quality and installation wise…

Guys you can always buy the standard 2020 grills that we have and swap them out because aftermarket is providing the diamond grills that are now available OEM and I know they are replaceable because I actually looked into it just for the hell of it.

Found this on local dealers site, I wouldn't mind swapping out the lower left and right triangle grills with these.
Also saw that the go and brake pedals have metal integrated in them, wonder if this is model wide change? |

That corner grill I would have to take a closer look, it might not direct that much air towards the brakes, rather into the engine instead. The dead pedal also changed design..I ordered covers for my brake and gas pedal to match the dead pedal.
