i normally drive my zuma 125cc scooter to the office but the weather is starting to get a little too cold.
I just got a 2015 base MINI F56 6-speed manual with the BMW B38 3-cylinder engine and that car is a blast. First tank I averaged 32.5 mpg mostly urban driving. Close to your budget - mine was $12,500, clean Carfax, 53K miles.

The surprising thing to me is how much like my old M235i it is. Same interior materials, same iDrive system, same climate control, same computer functions on the turn signal button - like I said in another post, it's a BMW-lite.

Currently trying to sell it, but it's done me well for the past 5 years, 03 G35. Been through 4 colors, countless sets of wheels / suspension setups / exhaust setups. Currently running 18x11 squared with 305/30 all around. If no one buys, I will end up re-wrapping it a less loud color, and later on down the line buy something else. The M2 replaced my 2015 Grand Cherokee, and boy do I miss dailying that thing. Might have to pick me up another one sometime next year.

Loving it so far. I've had it for a little over a month and nearly at 3k miles with a few long trips and a handful of off road excursions. It's beyond surprisingly comfortable (surprising in that I expected it to ride and drive like a Jeep). My wife's Grand Cherokee doesn't ride as nice as this. My only complaint is the hard top panel isn't fitting exactly right and is creating a lot of wind noise at speed, but that's a warranty issue that I'll get handled.

Opted for the automatic since my wife will be driving it and we'll be using it as a truck. I'll save the three pedals for the go fast cars

I love to ride my bike (BMW R1200GSA) the hard bags make it easy to transport most items. Since I live in SoCal and the weather is sunny my GSA is my daily. Truth be told I enjoy riding bikes more then driving cars. Now when it rains I transition to my Tacoma. The M5 is the weekend car.

Thanks for responding.

We had a '95 YJ for 14 years, which is far more raw than anything Jeep makes nowadays and replaced it with a Hummer H3T. While I like the Hummer a lot, it eats starters for some reason, and the GM 4 speed auto is just a crappy transmission, with no conversion possible. The Gladiator interests me because it has a manual transmission. The bed seems even less useful than the Hummer's. I plan on taking a test drive in the Gladiator soon.

Currently DDing a 2016 Toyota Tundra Platinum. Absolutely love this thing for what it is. Very comfortable, super practical (rear seats are way bigger than even an X7), and I use the bed all the time. Of course downfall is the avg MPG of 14 mixed, but gas is currently $2.2 a gallon around here so I don't have a problem with it. It's juts nice to know you have a reliable car that is low maintenance.

I still drive my M's to work when the weather is nice too, so they all get used when I can:
1999 BMW E36 M3
2007 BMW Z4M Roadster
2008 BMW E92 M3

^All manuals.

Learned that 4 cars is the absolute max for me, but very happy with all of them. In distant future, might sell the E36 and Z4M for a Porsche but not sold that's the right move. So overall, no complaints here.

You don't happen to be in upstate SC so you? I swear I have seen that E36 M3 somewhere before. Nice car whoever it belongs to.

A couple weeks ago I picked up a 2009 Honda Fit Sport. I got a killer deal on it, much better mpg than the BMW , and allows my E92 to rest in the garage over this winter for me to order and install a bunch of parts before spring time , with the ultimate goal of upgraded twins/single turbo over next winter 2020-2021
