Ceramic Coated X2
Sorry if it's low quality video but I'm very happy with how this ceramic coat turned out. Video doesn't give it justice. Take this as a sign to go ceramic coat yours

Very shiny!
I on and off think about /thought about doing mine.. but the cost was pretty high (I can't remember, something like 2K). I got the PPF for the front of my car as my drive consists of highway and tons of sandblasting on the front. From what I was told I would have needed at minimum the PPF since the ceramic coating wouldn't help with the highway debris... and the ceramic would have to be redone in 3 yrs ish.. so I just keep a nice coat of wax on the car. Did you hear any different for your car? |

ah, I mostly drive mine in the city and I live in an area where it is winter conditions for 6months of the year. I do have PPF on my car as well but since I've had the ceramic done, my car have stayed clean even though it's been wet and muddy outside for the last couple of weeks. I do remember being told that it won't protect paint from impact from debris on highway and have to do maintenance on the coat every 6-8 months.

I coated several cars in the last 10 years, and I won’t do it again. Most notably because after a couple years it requires you to polish it off and put it back on which is a major job. And many of them will water spot easily… It’s so much easier just to use some of the spray si02 silicone sealants that are out there now every 4 to 6 months, they work great, wipe them on like Windex and then wipe them off…done
A great one that is all the rage on the Detailing sites is the new Griots 3-1 spray sealant. 303 graphene spray is another…Another true coating that is very easy to use with no screwups is called Gyeon Cancoat Evo Google it.

Mine was $2k. Included 14 hrs of paint correction. Lol. It was an old lady’s car that she bought new and let sit outdoors for almost two years. When I bought it, it only had 3800 miles.
