Did BMW switch from Brigestone to Continental RFD?

Does anyone know if BMW has switched the OEM run flat tires on the 328XI from Bridgestone to Continental? I read somewhere that they did this beginning in March 2007. Thanks.

I don't know about the 328XI, but my e90 335i (build date 6/1/07) had Bridgestone tires.

All sport tires are going to be the Bridgestone Potenza. The all seasons are a hit or miss when it comes to either Bridgestone Turanzas or continentals. There is no for sure thing that I have seen on the new cars.

my new 07 e90 w/sport came with the Bridgestone's, supports the conclusion that all the cars with sport are being fitted with those now.

I was at the dealer today and they told me the non sports come with Continentals now.

I am actually getting a set installed next week since my Turanzas are making horrible noise. Since I am still under 20K miles, they will cover two tires and all labor. My price comes to $288 for four tires.

Anybody have expeience with these tires? The service manager said they do not "tramline" either.

there is a difference possible between the E90 328 and all other 18 inch options. Im 99% sure that all have the bridgestone potenza's fromt he factory, but the E90 sport 17 inch staggered setups do have MUCH more options than the 18 inchers have...
